1. The situation is getting from bad to worst. Spaces are very limited. It's a topic of 'kedai kopi' among lecturers and students
2. I have one opportunity to ask the problem to the top management of UiTM, Dato' Prof. Dr. Nasuddin Othman, the Deputy of Vice Chansellor (Student Affairs). Unfortunately, the question returned to me. He preferred to hear ideas instead of answers.
3. There are few ideas over the problems:
a. Having shuttle bus around UiTM. This could be a short term solution.
The effectiveness of the bus is still a question mark.
b. Build a multi level storey of parking. I don't think it's the best solution.
The cost of construction are too expensive.
c. Having 2 sessions of class. One in the morning, and one at the night.
I'm strongly believed students will prefer to watch Buletin Utama. Will see
poor number of attendance for class at night.
4. Let us think on the issues. Thanks to my father for the 2000cc car. I'm racing every morning to get ahead. keh keh

ReplyDeleteyup I agree..student skrg dah kaya raya..sedarlah tu sume duit mak bapak kte bg utk blaja..yg pkai PTPTN tu sedar2 la..duit tu pinjam je..
ReplyDeleteBiarlah student nak bawa kereta ke motor ke apa ke,itu hak mereka.soal kaya atau miskin tak payah bangkitkan sebab kenderaan adalah necessity pada zaman sekarang contoh lain - kegunaan handphone.Semua orang pun guna handphone sekarang sbb dah menjadi keperluan harian..samalah juga dgn kenderaan.ianya penting lebih2 lagi bila nak cari sources utk coursework.Kalau nak depend kepada perkhidmatan awam memang boleh,tapi kalau ada alternatif lain seperti mempunyai kenderaan sendiri,lebih senang and lancar untuk buat kerja. Jadi bagi pendapat saya,tak payah lah nak sibuk student kaya bawak kereta ke,xnak naik bus ke,apa ke...dah2 la tu..sebab kalau nak bandingkan zaman dahulu dengan sekarang memang tak terbanding..standard of living sekarang jauh berbeza..
ReplyDeleteOk..knp student banyak bawak kenderaan??Tak rasa ke sebab dorg ni majoriti duduk rumah sewa atau lebih spcfic,mereka majoriti tinggal di luar kampus..agak2 ada ke yang larat nak jalan tgh2 panas dari sek7 ke UITM??Kalau ada baguslah tapi kalau ada yang mungkin tak larat tu mungkin juga sebab tu dorg nak ada kenderaan utk ke uni kut??
So bagi pendapat saya nak elak student bawa kenderaan memang tak brp nak sesuai. Biar lah mereka membawa kenderaan mereka..
Idea-idea saya dalam menangani issue parking:-
1.Multi-level storey parking lot dan Basement Parking lot - Iyer,memang costly nak buat benda ini tapi,tanah uitm ni tak besar mane so the best is to do this type of parking lot concept. Insyallah, invest byk ckt money building it,tp result long term.Contoh kat FSPU tu.Parking lot yang dibina tu kalau lah dia buat multi level mesti byk kereta boleh muat.kalau buat basement parking mesti org pusat bahasa pun boleh join parking sekali.tapi yang ada sekarang ni pun bagus je.
2.Buat rule utk student yang bawa kenderaan utk share kenderaan dgn kwn2.Contoh if kereta kancil boleh muat dalam 4org kat belakang and sorg kat depan,penuhkn lah kenderaan,jgn bwk sorg2 je.
Tu je lah idea yang ada...mungkin tak seberapa tp something la jugak...Ini cume memberi idea je.sekadar nak share..

kalo nk buat parking 2tgkt,alamak bila nk siap kn...lgpn mganggu ketenteraman n lalu lintas ada la..bila parking dh siap,keta pula mkin btimbun...mean btmbh la lg keta n x cukup la lg parking...by the way...it so costly la...kcuali fakulti nk tggung la..hehe

pasni suma student kena jalan kaki la...bg exercise skit..baru badan sihat..senang nak blaja n mengingat...kembali kepada zaman dahulu...kan..kan...
